UCL MSc HCI-E Design Experience - The Forget-Me-Not

The Forget-Me-Not is a multi-modal device aimed at easing the worrying and forgetful minds of the elderly. It monitors and informs them and care givers of imminent safety problems. The system was developed for three stages of independence, so it could be easily tailored as users aged and abilities deteriorated. The pictures denote how we envisioned the interactions to be developed, using a weather theme as a natural analogy. The users were an integral part of the design process, leading all of our design decisions listed.

My contribution:

As a member of the team, I pro-actively took part in every step of the process. Furthermore, I kept a protocol for each work day and produced a daily report. Our assignment was to design a poster that demonstrates our work. With the conceptual help and the opinions of other group members I used my graphic design skills to create the poster.
